Training provides the stimulus; recovery gives your body the chance to adapt. More training is therefore not automatically better. The right balance varies by person and changes with sleep, stress, nutrition and training history.

Recovery is part of the program

CrossFit describes rest as an often undervalued part of training. When performance stalls, fatigue accumulates or motivation consistently drops, it may be worth looking at recovery as well as training.

Not every hard day requires a rest day. Look for patterns over time: performance, sleep, how your body feels and your energy outside the gym.

Sleep, nutrition and stress matter

Your training schedule does not exist separately from the rest of your week. Poor sleep, a stressful period or under-fueling can make the same session much harder.

Recovery is personal. A coach can adjust volume or intensity when circumstances change without requiring you to stop everything.

Don't just read about it. Come and do it.

During your free trial week you train under guidance and we adapt every workout to your level.

Progress comes from consistency

An extreme week followed by two weeks off usually delivers less than a pattern you can sustain for months. We prefer training that is challenging enough to drive progress and smart enough to let you return.

If you have pain, an injury or uncertainty about what is appropriate, speak with your coach and consult a suitable healthcare professional when needed.
